HERE ARE THINGS YOU MAY LIKE TO KNOW
before visiting Tri County for the first time.

You are welcome here!  The first and most important thing we want you to know is that we welcome anyone and everyone to Tri County!  Here are answers to some of the most common questions we've received from persons planning to visit our church.  If your question and answer isn't below, we invite you to email, text or give us a call.  We'd love to answer your question and make sure you're comfortable when you join us for worship.

What should I wear?

Wear whatever makes you comfortable!  We have persons at our church who wear jeans and flip-flops and others who dress up a little more.

What is the service like?

Our service is about one hour in length.  We have a worship team that leads us in worship that includes some upbeat contemporary worship songs and sometimes an old hymn or two.  Our minister delivers a weekly message that is Biblical and relevant to our time.  Our goal each week is to inspire, encourage and challenge.  We think you're going to love our service.

Do you have a nursery?

Yes, we have a nursery, however currently (due to Covid) it is not staffed. We make our nursery available so that parents may use it as needed for their children. The nursery has a TV that broadcasts the service, too.

Do you have something for children?

On Sundays we dismiss children from the service just before the morning message.  Those in grades 5 and younger to "Kingdom Kids", our children's ministry. At Kingdom Kids, the children learn a Bible lesson that's age-appropriate, enjoy crafts and activities and often get a snack, too.

What about COVID safety measures?

Tri County is proud to say we've never had an outbreak of Covid in our church. We have taken appropriate safety measures and ask that everyone who attends cooperates with them.

  • Limited Mask Wearing.  We have asked attendees to wear a mask when entering, exiting and walking through our building.  Once at your seat for worship, becase we have socially distanced our chairs, masks are not required.
  • Socially Distanced Seating.  We have arranged our chairs to offer adequate space between family groups. We have also set up our Fellowship Hall with a sound system, large screen and additional seating.  We ask that families sit together with no more than one family unit per row.
  • Disinfecting. We spray and clean all common areas after each service.
  • Self-Quarantining.  We've asked our church family to not attend service if they've been recently exposed (10 days or less) to a person who has Covid-19 or if they have any of the classic Covid symptions (fever, cough, loss of taste/smell, etc.)  Our church family has been great about doing this and ave enjoyed joining us on our livestream when they have willfully stayed home, sometimes out of an abundance of caution.

Will I be greeted or specially acknowledged.

Tri County is always excited to have a guest join us for worship, but we will never ask you to stand or otherwise potentially embarrass persons who don't want to be singled-out.  Our church is very friendly, but we're also aware that handshakes in a pandemic environment aren't always welcomed.  So, you may not be personally greeted or offered a handshake. But, please know that you're welcome, accepted and that we're glad you're here.  If you'd like to stay after the service and get to know us a little better, we're more than happy spend time with you then.
