We had our first VIRTUAL BIBLE STUDY tonight. Thanks to those who turned in. It worked GREAT!
All indications are that we're going to have limited activity options for quite a while. We're working very hard to help keep people at church connected and encouraging one another. Our virtual Bible Studies and meeting will help do that. We're going to continue our Precepts Bible Studies on Tuesday nights at 6:30 PM. We'll be in Lesson #6 on March 24. We're also going to start a second class so that you can learn this terrific passage of Scripture from the first lesson. CLICK HERE to let us know if you're interested and what night(s) of the week would work for you.
We'd like to minister to our children, too. We're looking hard for some ideas of things we can do online with both our younger children and teenage youth. One persons suggested that Pictionary might be a fun game they could play online. We're going to tinker with that idea and see what we can come up with.
If you'd like to host a virtual meeting, click here and let us know. Maybe you'd like to lead a ladies devotional, a humor hour, a discussion forum. If you've got something that can be discussed and shared in an online meeting, let us know and we'll work on getting you started. Let's work hard to stay connected with one another though. You may not need the Christian fellowship, but you can bet a lot of your church family does. Why not participate for the benefit of others?
As a reminder, all "in-person" meetings and events have been canceled until further notice. It's going to take us some time to find the pre-scheduled Facebook posts and get them taken down, but for now, please know that all in-person events are canceled. We are working very hard to try and have live-stream available of Sunday's service. Stay tuned. We're doing a test on Friday and we'll let you know how that works out.
Finally, remember that the world is counting on the Christian community to set the example, to be the helpers, to provide assurance, hope, love, support and aid to others during this time. Continue serving others in the name of Jesus!
