Tri County is a great church filled with amazing people. We're working hard to keep people connected to each other and to God. We're working hard to share the Gospel message, a message of hope, to the world. That's why we've created a number of virtual meetings and services. Below is a list of what we are currently offering. And, we're seeing more ways to have fun, enjoy each other's company and to continue connecting. So, if you have an idea, feel free to share it with us.

Our ZOOM meetings require that you download the ZOOM software to your smartphone, tablet, PC or MAC. You can click on any of the ZOOM links below to quickly to download the FREE, SAFE and easy-to-use software. Then, at the time of our meeting, just click the link and you'll be in! It's that easy. If you have trouble, just send us an email and we are here to help you.

LIVE STREAM WORSHIP will be offered each Sunday. When permitted, our worship team will gather at the church and bring you the best service possible. When not permitted, our Pastor will put together a service with some pre-recorded music, testimonials and then will bring us a live message. CLICK HERE for our live stream at 10 AM every Sunday.

MORNING DEVOTIONS WITH is a Monday - Friday devotional series featuring guest speakers. Some of our speakers are nationally known, some are local, some are former classmates of our Pastor, but all love the Lord and will bring you a meaningful devotion to start your day. Our morning devotions are 9 AM Monday through Friday and last about 15 minutes. CLICK HERE for our Morning Devotions With series (ZOOM required).

RUTH BIBLE STUDY is Tuesday at 6:30 PM. This is a three-week course beginning Tuesday, March 31. We have study material that we'll send you in advance, by request. Then, we'll meet at 6:30 PM on Tuesdays for a brief discussion about the week's lesson then watch a DVD that brings the book of Ruth to life. It's an amazing study and anyone and everyone is encouraged to participate. CLICK HERE for our Tuesday Evening Bible Study (ZOOM required). To request the Bible Study material, click here.

KINGDOM KIDS is our elementary age ministry. We're going to give them weekly projects and then meet online Fridays at 7 PM to see each other and each other's work. CLICK HERE for our Friday evening Kingdom Kids gathering (ZOOM required).

SQUARE ONE is our teen ministry. We're in the development phase (but we're developing quickly) a series called "Be Like Jesus". Jesus' earthly father was a carpenter. No doubt Jesus learned some of the tricks of the trade. So, we're going to mail our teens a craft kit and then set a ZOOM meeting (day and time to be determined) where they'll be instructed how to build their projects and then hear s lesson about being like Jesus. So, the church has not been paralyzed. We're moving forward. We're learning new ways to share the gospel. We're learning new ways to bring words of encouragement and hope. And, some of these methods may just stay in place once we're able to gather together again.

PLEASE JOIN US tomorrow at 9 AM for morning devotions. Just click here just before 9 AM. Brad Speirs, minister at the Novesta Church of Christ, will be our guest speaker. If you've already downloaded the ZOOM software, you'll connect quickly. If you haven't downloaded Zoom, you'll be prompted to do so. It's free. It's safe. And, it's easy!

PLEASE CONTINUE PRECEPTS WITH US on Tuesday at 6:30 PM. Our Precepts Class will enjoy their second virtual study together and continue their study of the Sermon on the Mount. Just click here just before 6:30 PM on Tuesday and you'll go directly to our virtual study.

FEEL FREE TO MAKE A SUGGESTION. What would you like to see on line? What type of study interests you? What time of day works? Just reply to this email and we'll consider your suggestion. We are working hard to keep your church connected to one another and keep all of us connected to God.

For the kids' safety we are setting up a "waiting room" and only persons we recognize will be allowed into the meeting. If you log-in and aren't allowed into the meeting within a minute of two of signing in, please call Pastor Randy so we can identify you.

This week's meeting is "about the cross". Kids are encouraged to decorate their own crosses with a recommended size of 2 feet high and about 1 foot wide. Materials can be paper, poster board or anything else; preferably white. Then the child may decorate it in any way he or she chooses. They should be as colorful and creative as possible. When we are able to worship together, we'll put them in the front of the auditorium for all to see. Each child is responsible for coloring their own using any medium or combination of mediums they choose. They should sign them on the front and include a verse about the cross in the white background of the cross. It would be great if each child memorized the verse they pick

Adults, you are welcome to make a cross and memorize a verse, too!

We can't wait to see our kids' smiling faces on Friday!

We had our first VIRTUAL BIBLE STUDY tonight. Thanks to those who turned in. It worked GREAT!

All indications are that we're going to have limited activity options for quite a while. We're working very hard to help keep people at church connected and encouraging one another. Our virtual Bible Studies and meeting will help do that. We're going to continue our Precepts Bible Studies on Tuesday nights at 6:30 PM. We'll be in Lesson #6 on March 24. We're also going to start a second class so that you can learn this terrific passage of Scripture from the first lesson. CLICK HERE to let us know if you're interested and what night(s) of the week would work for you.

We'd like to minister to our children, too. We're looking hard for some ideas of things we can do online with both our younger children and teenage youth. One persons suggested that Pictionary might be a fun game they could play online. We're going to tinker with that idea and see what we can come up with.

If you'd like to host a virtual meeting, click here and let us know. Maybe you'd like to lead a ladies devotional, a humor hour, a discussion forum. If you've got something that can be discussed and shared in an online meeting, let us know and we'll work on getting you started. Let's work hard to stay connected with one another though. You may not need the Christian fellowship, but you can bet a lot of your church family does. Why not participate for the benefit of others?

As a reminder, all "in-person" meetings and events have been canceled until further notice. It's going to take us some time to find the pre-scheduled Facebook posts and get them taken down, but for now, please know that all in-person events are canceled. We are working very hard to try and have live-stream available of Sunday's service. Stay tuned. We're doing a test on Friday and we'll let you know how that works out.

Finally, remember that the world is counting on the Christian community to set the example, to be the helpers, to provide assurance, hope, love, support and aid to others during this time. Continue serving others in the name of Jesus!

Be blessed.

Be safe.

COVID 19 UPDATE

Tri County has made the difficult decision to temporarily cancel all public meetings, events and services. We know how important spiritual nourishment is during times like what we're living through and we're working overtime to provide options for our church and others. We encourage you to check this page often for updates.

We are currently working on a "ZOOM" online Bible Study. To prepare, we encourage you to download the FREE software for your computer or app for your smart phone. Just go to the I-tunes store, windows store and whatever "store" you use for your computer or smartphone and search… read more

Just go to the I-tunes store, windows store and whatever "store" you use for your computer or smartphone and search for Google Meets. We're still learning the software, but we'll be able to have easy-to-click links to easily join our weekly SERMON ON THE MOUNT Bible Studies. The meeting ID is 685 593 525 and the Password is 777. It begins at 6:30 PM on Tuesdays. Click Here for a direct link.

We are also diligently working to video stream our services. Due to the number of churches and other groups that are very quickly enacting live streaming, some of the required hardware is hard to find. We've ordered our last vital piece and anticipate it arriving no later than March 24. Until then, we will record a service and put it on our website each Sunday. We anticipate this Sunday's service being on our website no later than 6 PM on Sunday.

We hope to have our worship team assemble and play some music for us. We hope to have different persons still offer a communion meditation. And we will invite one or two families to join us for the live taping each week. Please contact Pastor Randy is you'd like your family to take part in the live-streaming.

God create people to interact with one another. Not coming together for worship is going to be difficult. But we're going to regularly evaluate the spread of Covid-19, the guidance from local health officials and the requirements and requests of our Government's officials. One way we honor God is by being good citizens. So, we're all going to do our part.

If you need any special assistance during this unprecedented time, please contact Pastor Randy or one of our Elders.

If you don't receive our periodic newsletters, we urge you to sign up today. Simply go to the "keeping connected" page (under our ministries section) of this web page. You can self-subscribe to keep connected to your church family. If you've already subscribed and are not receiving our newsletters, please contact Pastor Randy. He'll be happy to assist you.

Tri County urges you to remain faithful in your giving. Even though we aren't meeting, our expenses remain the same. In fact, due to the methods we're using to bring Bible studies and worship services to your home via live streaming and virtual meetings, our expenses have increased. Further, we anticipate there will be significant needs both in and around our church where we'll be able to assist. You can use the "give" button at the top of this page or mail you contributions to Tri County Christian Church c/0 803 Oak Cluster Dr; Howell, MI 48855.
